About this Project:

This project has been created as a tribute to the enduring music, passion and raw energy of Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, and Scott Weiland - artists whose impact lives on despite being taken too soon.

Growing up in Vancouver, B.C. Canada, the music scene had a major influence in bringing this project to life. Seeing these bands on many occasions from their infancy and throughout the height of their careers, I had the honor of meeting and interacting with some of the band members.

My love and adoration of their music prompted my singing many of these songs from decades prior. After losing Chris Cornell in 2017, it ignited the idea of showcasing these artists’ music together in a single show ….. Tribute to Titans

Shayn Hagel : Lead Singer

Musical Influences: Wide range of influence, from Jazz and Rhythm & Blues, to Hard Rock and Metal. Including some, that people may not think about such as Classical Symphony and Tribal Percussion.

How Long have you been playing: Started singing at the age of 15.

Previous Bands: Freeloader, Rumble Rockers, Analog Delay, Steel Toad, Hagel and the BBoys

Previous Tours: British Columbia and some southern states.

Most Memorable Musical Moment: Preforming at the last Sicamous STOMP the summer of 2019. As we took the stage and began our first song, Fireworks were set off and 300 people started cheering, waving their arms, and reaching for us onstage. The emotion and gratefulness is something I will never forget.

Dream Gig: The Commodore Vancouver, and The Budokan.

Sam Kastor: Bassist

Musical Influences: Zakk Wylde, Angus Young, Eric Clapton, Jimmy page, Tony Lommi, Robert Delo, Geezer Butler, Carol Kaye & Duff McKegan

How Long have you been playing: Started playing guitar and bass when I was 10.

Previous Bands: Cohesive Facilitator, Just add Water

Previous Tours: British Columbia.

Most Memorable Musical Moment: Playing in Trail back in 2017. The small but enthusiastic audience kept praising us for our original music and asking us to return to the venue.

Derek Smith: Guitar

Musical Influences: Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, AC/DC, EVH

How Long have you been playing: Started playing guitar about 30 year ago.

Previous Bands: Skeleton Parade

Previous Tours: Okanagan

Most Memorable Musical Moment: Setting the fire alarm off with a smoke machine during our first song of the night.

Dream Gig: Playing with one of the original big 4 thrash metal bands.

Thomas Hunter: Drums

Musical Influences: Led Zeppelin

How Long have you been playing: Playing the drums since I was 15. As a man of mystery will let you guess how many years that has been!
